COMPENSATION & DETAILS
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Full-time exempt; availability required across all dayparts
- Reports to: Owner-Operator/ Executive Director
- Direct Reports: Leadership Team (Team Leaders & Area Operators)
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director is the most senior operational leader in the restaurant. This person owns the full business — people, quality, sales, and financial performance, and is the defining force behind the culture, standards, and trajectory of Chick-fil-A North Haven.
This is not a role for someone who manages from a distance. You will be on the floor, in the details, and in the lives of the people you lead. The right candidate leads with vision, develops others relentlessly, and holds the restaurant to a standard of excellence that guests and team members both feel.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Vision & Strategy Execute the Operator's vision while driving your own Individual Development Plan (IDP) and building IDPs for all leaders. Collaborate with the leadership team to set short- and long-term goals and create actionable plans to achieve them.
-
People & Development Recruit, select, coach, and develop talent at every level. Oversee the growth of middle managers, emerging leaders, ambassadors, and contributors. Implement individualized training, coordinate feedback for new team members, and model the Winning Hearts Everyday strategy every shift.
-
Quality & Guest Experience Own food safety, speed of service, and guest experience metrics. Leverage RQA, ROE, and CEM tools to drive continuous improvement. Ensure all facilities and equipment are operational and that food safety standards exceed FDA and local code requirements.
-
Sales & Brand Growth Partner with the Operator and RMD to grow customer count, check average, and outside sales. Support the execution of the marketing plan and build heightened brand awareness within the trade area.
-
Financial Return: Oversee spending across all variable P&L expense lines. Drive continuous improvement in fiscal ROI. Ensure cash management best practices are followed and that change funds are counted every day.
